9/11...

Today is a day to reflect. A day to remember what everyone saw on 9/11. It is a vision that most will never forget or be able to get out of their sights.

In my reading today, a verse of Scripture found in 2 Chronicles 16:9a states "For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him."

It is so reassuring to know that no matter what the circumstances we face, have faced, or will face, God sees us and is intently looking to strengthen us when we are fully committed to him.

So during the 9/11 attacks, God was watching those whose hearts were fully committed to him on that day. We can rest assured that He strengthened them and gave them a courage during that tragedy while others feared their lives, panicked, and fled with terror. While we have great sensitivity to all those who lost loved ones that day, we can also take great comfort and peace in knowing that our God is a mighty fortress and gave those followers a great sense of presence and strength during their last moments. Something only God can do...He did.

(My workout today is legs and back...difficult...but I am making it. My diet is still going as planned. Staying steady at the 20 pounds lost...). Getting stronger, more flexible, and more energy!
